Event Description:
The Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce will be in the Big E Chicopee Day Parade! Be sure to come on down and wave hello!!
If you are a member of the Chicopee Chamber and would like to join us in the parade walk please register today! We have 10 slots available - so hurry!

Participants must register and be approved by GCCoC staff to participate. 

ALL PARADE PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO WALK THE PARADE ROUTE, NOT RIDE IN ANY VEHICLES. 
  • ENTRY APPEARANCE: Staff and all participants accompanying staff must be properly attired. NO strollers or wagons (unless used for band supplies) are allowed.
  • NO THROWING OR DISTRIBUTING OF FAVORS OR HANDOUTS. This is extremely dangerous as spectators (particularly children) will run out into the road to retrieve favors or handout and could be struck by a moving vehicle.
  • NO ADVOCATING, OPPOSING OR DEPICTING OF ANY POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, OR SOCIAL ISSUES.
  • NO SPRAYING OF WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS FROM GROUP. This is a serious liability factor, one that could result in personal injury or property damage.
  • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES!

Parades are to be fun, entertaining and safe for all participants and spectators. Enjoy!

NOTE: THE PARADE ORGANIZERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY ENTRY AT ANY TIME AND ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL. THANK YOU.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Please note: In heavy traffic conditions, local law enforcement and State Police will direct drivers via the quickest route based on traffic conditions at that time. Please follow their directions (in lieu of your GPS information) to get you to the Fair as soon as possible.

ROUTES FROM CONNECTICUT AND POINTS SOUTH
Take I-91 North from Rte. 2, I-84, I-95 or the Merritt Parkway — Follow I-91 North to Mass. Exit 3 to Route 5 North to Rte. 147 West, Memorial Avenue approximately 3/4 mi. to ESE’s Gate 9 parking lot.

ALTERNATE ROUTES FROM CONNECTICUT AND POINTS SOUTH
Take I-91 North to Conn. Exit 38 (Poquonock) to Rte. 75 North to Rte. 147 East. Continue approximately 1/2 mile to ESE’s Gate 9 parking lot.
  • Take I-91 North to Conn. Exit 40 (Bradley Int’l. Airport) to Rte. 20 West to Rte. 75 North to Rte. 147 East. Continue approximately 1/2 mile to ESE’s Gate 9 parking lot.
  • Take I-91 North to Conn. Exit 42 to Rte. 159 North to Rte. 147 East. Continue approximately 1/2 mile to ESE’s Gate 9 parking lot.
  • Take I-91 North to Conn. Exit 47 West to Rte. 190 West to Rte. 159 North to Rte. 147 East. Continue approximately 1/2 mile to ESE’s Gate 9 parking lot.
