In September of 2013, Mr. Spiros Hatiras became the medical center’s President and CEO. Prior to coming to Holyoke Medical Center, Hatiras served as president and chief executive officer of Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey.

He is certified in health care management by the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has a master’s degree in health care management from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the Athens Institute of Technology in Athens, Greece. He and his wife, Gwen are the parents of two children, Ava and Zach.
